I'm currently working toward my master's degree in music education at Boston University. I earned a bachelor's degree in music theory from Temple University, where I made the dean's honor list. Prior to that, I earned my associate degree in piano performance from Bucks County Community College.Highlights of my academic and professional career include: earning the Legacy Scholarship from Bucks County Community College, holding a lifetime membership with the Golden Key International Honor Society, and working professionally alongside Darius Brubeck, son of pioneer cool jazz composer and artist Dave Brubeck. Additionally, I was very fortunate to give a performance at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center with the University Singers of Temple University.As far as tutoring is concerned, I am adept at teaching Italian, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, writing, art, music theory, music, piano, voice, and English. I can also help students prepare for important academic tests, including the SAT. When it comes to teaching, I tailor my lessons to how each student best responds to learning the information. I also encourage my students by letting them know they can achieve if they believe in themselves and put the effort into learning.In my spare time, I enjoy doing yoga, being outdoors, reading classic novels, writing poetry, doing meditation, and participating in physical activities.
